Most fathers had to bring home the bacon at all costs and missed at times those opportunities to connect with their children in a way that was special.
Now:
Many fathers can be stay at home dads and enjoy the day to day events that get us to really know our children.
My Sylvio has been lucky to be a modern dad to our two sons. He was there whenever I was not and I am so glad for the gifts that gave all of us.
Jenny! I love your reflections. That felted doll is amazing. It feels like old times coming back again to read your post. I haven't looked at my Blogger reading list for many years. And when I did I saw your two current posts--and you too--got the same idea when I did to blog once more. Weird huh?
